horti-regio, trade show for nurseries in Southern
Germany
hardy nursery-stock, annuals and perennials, ornamental plants and
horticultural equipement for the green market
On July, 21st, 2011 Leipheim again becomes an international
meeting place for nursery people from all over Europe.
Approximately 150 exhibitors and thousands of visitors from all over
Europe are expected to the “horti-regio” at the nursery Haage in
Leipheim.
Apart from
horticultural machinery and accessories, nurseries from Southern
Germany present an extensive offer of hardy conifers, deciduous
trees/shrubs, annuals and perennials. This indicates the
performance of the nursery production in South Germany with 1500 ha of
hardy nursery stock and about 200 growers. At the same time it offers
the possibility for exchanging experience and information with
nurserymen and experts from different European countries.
Strong sunlight in
Southern Germany during the growing season leads to a well hardened off
plant that can survive the normally sever winter conditions that occur
in this region. Temperatures of down to 30 degree Centigrade are not
uncommon. Especially content customers from Eastern Europe and Russia
estimate this advantage as the trees and shrubs are well prepared for
weather conditions in a continental climate.

This fair is visited by the decision makers of the industry: Retailers,
landscape and horticulture representatives as well as green department
managers of cities and municipalities are welcome to find an extensive
assortment. Southern Germany’s nurserymen want to convince with quality
and deliverability.
The 6th edition of the fair "by
professionals for professionals" will
be expanded on the whole horticultural market
(ornamental plants, garden and landscaping, gardencenters, nurseries
and in particular cemetery service providers). In 2011 the organisers
plan again an additional demonstration of equipment used in horticultural
business.
The fair has got an
unique flair, taking place in an active nursery. Insights into the
cultivation of hardy nursery stock are possible. There is no entrance
fee and the available convenient parking is also free and directly
beside the fairground. horti-regio is open on July, 21st 2011 by 9 am to 6 pm.
You can reach the
exhibition in Leipheim easily by the motorway “A8” between Stuttgart
and Munich. The journey by car both from the airport in Stuttgart and
